Abstract
"POLISSACARÍDEOS OXIDADOS E PRODUTOS PRODUZIDOS A PARTIR DOS MESMOS". A presente invenção se refere a um polissacarídeo tendo grupos funcionais, em que os ditos grupos são grupos aldeído formados nas posições C2 e/ou C3, assim como na posição C6 das unidades de glicose anidro da cadeia do polissacarídeo. Preferencialmente, o polissacarídeo é um material celulósico fibroso, cujos grupos hidroxila primário e secundário são pelo menos parcialmente oxidados em grupos aldeído por meio de oxidação com TEMPO e oxidação com periodato. A presente invenção também se refere a um papel ou não-tecido compreendendo o polissacarídeo acima. De acordo com a invenção, pode ser obtida uma resistência à umidade relativa de mais de 10%.
