"INSTRUMENTO DE INSTALAÇÃO DE UM SUPORTE, DISPOSITIVO PARA USO EM UM PROCEDIMENTO CIRÚRGICO EM UM PACIENTE, E, PROCESSOS DE INSTALAÇÃO DE UM SUPORTE E DE UM ELEMENTO DE CONEXÃO EM UM PACIENTE E DE ESTABILIZAÇÃO DE PELO MENOS UM NÍVEL VERTEBRAL DE UM PACIENTE". A presente invenção refere-se à colocação de um instrumento para instalação de um suporte (220) que é montado em âncoras (60) fixadas em um paciente. O instrumento de instalação inclui extensões de âncora (230) acopladas com as âncoras (60). O instrumento (220) é móvel com relação às âncoras (60) para posicionar um suporte em uma posição mais próxima das âncoras (60). O suporte (290) pode ser indexado para inserção em uma orientação predeterminada com respeito ao instrumento de instalação (220). Processos e técnicas para usar o instrumento de instalação (220) também são proporcionados.
