"SISTEMAS E MÉTODOS AUTOMATIZADOS PARA A COLETA PARA OBTER CÉLULAS SANGÜÍNEAS VERMELHAS, PLAQUETAS E PLASMA DO SANGUE TOTAL". Sistemas e métodos para o processamento do sangue separam o sangue retirado de um doador em células sangüíneas vermelhas e plaquetas. Os sistemas e métodos operam em um primeiro modo para coletar plaquetas enquanto retornando células sangüíneas vermelhas para o doador. Os sistemas e métodos operam em um segundo modo para simultaneamente coletar plaquetas e células sangüíneas vermelhas sem retornar plaquetas ou células sangüíneas vermelhas para o doador.
