Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO PARA REDUÇÃO DIRETA PARA OBTENÇÃO DE FERRO METÁLICO COM ALTO TEOR DE CARBONO NA FORMA DE CARBETOS". Dispositivo de redução direta (10) do tipo gravitacional para obter-se carbeto de ferro a partir de óxido de ferro, compreendendo um reator de redução e de carburação (12) abaixo do qual um recipiente de resfriamento e passivação (26) é colocado onde o carbeto de ferro é adequadamente resfriado e passivado. Entre o reator (12) e o recipiente (26) uma válvula para sólidos (24) é interposta adequadamente para regular a transferência do carbeto de ferro.
