Abstract
"REVESTIMENTOS SUPERABSORVENTES RESISTENTES À ÁGUA". Artigos revestidos com um revestimento resistente à água, que absorve água para proporcionar um efeito de resistência à água, e dessorve água, quando o revestimento é secado, e processo para conferir resistência à água e resistência à corrosão a artigos preparados com esses revestimentos. O revestimento é formado pela aplicação de uma composição compreendendo uma solução aquosa de um precursor de polímero superabsorvente solúvel em água, opcionalmente um agente modificador de viscosidade e opcionalmente um lubrificante às superfícies do artigo, e cura para formar um revestimento compreendendo o polímero superabsorvente.
