Abstract
Patente de Invenção para "FIO DENTAL APERFEIÇOADO POSSUINDO BAIXA DENSIDADE E MÉTODO DE FABRICAÇÃO DO MESMO". Um fio dental compreendendo uma fibra PTFE porosa possuindo uma densidade de menos de cerca de 0.7 g/cc. O fio inventivo é resistente à abrasão, segurável e possui uma sensação suave para as mãos e uma sensação áspera na boca. O fio é fabricado por um processo de extrusão com aquecimento de não contato durante expansão subseqüente com fechamento amorfo.
