Abstract
"AZATIOPRINA TÓPICA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇAS AUTO-IMUNES ORAIS". Um método para o tratamento ou prevenção dos sintomas associados com doenças auto-imunes orais compreende o tratamento de um paciente com uma formulação tópica oral de azatioprina ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável da mesma. A formulação de azatioprina pode ser usada na forma de um colutório oral para tratar topicamente áreas de inflamação e ulceração do tecido oral causadas pelo aparecimento de doenças autoimunes orais, tal como GVHD. A formulação tópica oral de azatioprina também pode ser usada em combinação com outras drogas imunossupressoras ou antiinflamatórias tópicas ou sistêmicas.
