Abstract
"DERIVADOS DE TIENOPIRANOCARBOXAMIDA". Compostos (I) (R = arila, cicloalquila ou polialoalquila, R~ 1~ = alquila, alcóxi, polifluoroalcóxi, hidróxi ou trifluorometanossulfonilóxi, cada um de R~ 2~ e R~ 3~ independentemente = H, halogênio, alcóxi ou polifluoroalcóxi, n é 0, 1 ou 2) e seus óxidos-N ou sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis são dotados de seletividade aumentada para o receptor adrenérgico ~ 1~ e baixa atividade para diminuir a pressão sangüínea. Este perfil de atividade torna estes compostos úteis no tratamento de síndromes obstrutivas do trato urinário inferior, incluindo hiperplasia prostática benigna (BPH), reduzir a pressão intra-ocular, no tratamento de arritmia cardíaca e disfunção sexual e erétil, e no tratamento de sintomas de trato urinário inferior (LUTS) e disfunção do trato urinário inferior neurogênico (NLUTD). Os compostos (I) por si, composições farmacêuticas contendo os compostos (I) e usos médicos dos compostos (I) são reivindicados.
