Abstract
"COMPOSIÇÃO QUÍMICA E MÉTODO". A presente invenção se refere a uma nova composição útil com material de partida para a produção de dióxido de cloro, dita composição sendo uma solução aquosa compreendendo cerca de 1 a cerca de 6,5 moles/litro de clorato de metal alcalino, cerca de 1 a cerca de 7 moles/litro de peróxido de hidrogênio e pelo menos um dentre um colóide protetor, um radical seqüestrador ou um agente complexante à base de ácido fosfônico, em que o pH da solução aquosa é de cerca de 1 a cerca de 4. A invenção também compreende um processo para produção de dióxido de cloro usando a nova composição.
