A presente invenção refere-se também aos métodos de tratamento da angina de peito, aterosclerose, e hipertensão e hiperlipidemia em um mamífero utilizando aquelas pró-drogas e composições. A presente invenção refere-se também aos métodos de gerir o risco cardíaco em um mamífero, incluindo seres humanos, que se apresentam com sintomas de risco cardíaco, através da administração daquelas pró-drogas e composições.
