Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA A PURIFICAÇÃO DE DIACEREÍNA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de diacereína, em que a diacereína é purificada por cristalização do produto bruto com uma mistura de solventes consistindo em ácido acético e anidrido acético, ou com somente o anidrido acético, seguida por tratamento da solução com o ácido etilenodiaminotetracético para remover quaisquer traços de cromo.
