Abstract
"USO DE UM AGONISTA DE COBRE E MÉTODO PARA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE UM AGONISTA DE COBRE". A invenção refere-se a um agonista do cobre que se liga ao sítio de ligação de cobre na APP e/ou exerce um efeito inibidor na liberação do peptídeo Ab amilóide participante no surgimento de doença de Alzheimer. A invenção também se refere a drogas contendo dito agonista de cobre ou à utilização de dito agonista do cobre para o preparo de uma droga para a detecção e/ou o tratamento da doença de Alzheimer. A invenção refere-se adicionalmente, ao método para identificação de agonistas de cobre tendo o efeito desejado descrito na invenção.
