Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MISTURAS DE TRIALQUILMETANO COMO LUBRIFICANTES SINTÉTICOS". Quando trialquil metanos diferentes, contendo de 25 a 36 átomos de carbono, são misturados, a mistura, surpreendentemente, exibe propriedades lubrificantes superiores incluindo baixa viscosidade, VI elevada, baixa volatilidade, ponto de fluidez muito baixo e uma viscosidade dinâmica a baixa temperatura que é menos do que aquela de lubrificantes PAO. Composições de mistura estatisticamente previsíveis, de trialquil metanos misturados, são preparadas por reação de misturas de compostos organometálicos de n-alquila com ésteres alifáticos misturados ou compostos equivalentes.
