Abstract
"PRODUTO FARMACÊUTICO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma forma polimórfica de sal de ácido maléico de 5-[4-[2-(N-metil-N-(2piridil)amino)etóxi]benzilltiazolidina-2,4-diona (o "Polimorfo") caracterizado pelo fato de que ele provê: (i) um espectro infravermelho contendo picos em 1752, 1546, 1154, 621 e 602 cm-^ 1^, e/ou (ii) um espectro Raman contendo picos em 1751, 1243 e 602 cm-^ 1^, e/ou (iii) um espectro de ressonância magnética nuclear em estado sólido contendo picos em 111,9, 114,8, 119,6, 129,2, 134,0, 138,0, 144,7, 153,2, 157,1, 170,7, 172,0 e 175,0 ppm, e/ou (iv) um padrão de difração em pó de raio X (XRPD), que rende espaçamentos de látice de 6,46, 5,39, 4,83, 4,68, 3,71, 3,63, 3,58 e 3,48 A, a um processo para preparar tal composto, a uma composição farmacêutica contendo tal composto e ao uso do composto em medicina.
