Abstract
ARPE-19 COMO UMA LINHAGEM DE CÉLULA DE PLATAFORMA PARA LIBERAÇÃO COM BASE EM CÉLULA ENCAPSULADA As células ARPE-19 foram avaliadas como uma linhagem de célula de plataforma para tecnologia de liberação com base em células encapsulada e não encapsulada. As células ARPE-19 foram verificadas como sendo duras (a linhagem de célula é viável sob condições estringentes, como no sistema nervoso central ou meio intra-ocular); podem ser geneticamente modificadas para secretar a proteína de escolha; tem um tempo de vida longo; são de origem humana; tem boa viabilidade no dispositivo in vivo; liberam uma quantidade eficaz de fator de crescimento, não acionam ou acionam uma reação imune baixa para o hospedeiro, e não são tumorigências.
