Abstract
"TECIDO DE ULTRA MICROFIBRAS ANTI MICROBIANO". Um material anti microbiano compreendendo pelo menos um fio compreendendo uma fibra fina de 1,0 denier ou menos e pelo menos um fio compreendendo uma fibra anti microbiana que são engatadas uma com a outra, onde as fibras anti microbianas imprimem uma propriedades anti microbiana para todo o material. Em uma modalidade preferida, os fios da fibra fina e os fios da fibra anti microbiana são tecidos ou tricotados juntos. É preferido adicionalmente que a fibra fina seja menor que 0,3 denier, possua um diâmetro de aproximadamente 3 mícrons, e tenha uma seção transversal geralmente triangular com bordas afiadas, permitindo dessa forma que a fibra fina remova substancialmente as bactérias, fungos e outros micróbios de uma superfície. É preferido também que as fibras anti microbianas compreendam uma fibra de acetato enrolada juntamente com poliéster para fornecer à fibra anti microbiana uma resistência adicional.
