Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MÉTODOS MELHORADOS PARA LIXIVIAÇÃO DE MINÉRIOS". São divulgados e reivindicados eficientes métodos para lixiviação de minerais a partir de minérios usando uma solução acídica tal como ácido sulfúrico. Os fatores adicionais os quais podem melhorar a recuperação de mineral incluem o uso de um haleto de metal de álcali, moagem do minério, adição de uma fonte de carbono, e/ou ajustamento da temperatura na qual o processo é realizado. Os minerais tais como titânio, ferro, níquel, cobalto, prata e ouro podem ser recuperados pelos métodos da presente invenção.
