Abstract
"AÇO-FERRAMENTA DE METALURGIA DE PÓ DE ALTA DUREZA E ARTIGO FEITO DESTE". É divulgada uma liga de aço-ferramenta tendo uma combinação inédita de dureza e tenacidade. A liga contém, em porcentual em peso: C 1, 85-2,0, Mn 0,15-1,0, Si 0,151,0, P 0,030 máx., S 0-0,30, Cr 3,7-5,0, Ni + Cu 0,75 máx., Mo 1,0 máx., Co 6 - 12, W 12, 0-13,5, V 4,5-7,5. O saldo é essencialmente ferro e impurezas usuais. Os elementos C, Mo, W e V são equilibrados tal que 0,05 C -0,42 onde C = ((0,033W)+(0,063Mo)+(0,06Cr)+(0,2V))-C. Um artigo de aço-ferramenta de pó de metalurgia pode ser feito a partir de pó de liga consolidado tendo a composição porcentual em peso acima mencionada provendo uma dureza Rockwell C de pelo menos 69,5 quando tratado termicamente.
