Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "COPOLÍMEROS DE UMA ISOMONOOLEFINA E UM MONÔMERO VINIL AROMÁTICO ENXERTADOS COM SILANO". São preparados copolímeros sililados curáveis baseados em copolímeros de olefina contendo pelo menos uma C~ 4~ a C~ 7~ isomonoolefina e um monômoro vinil aromático (alquil estireno) reagindo-se o copolímero de olefina com um silano hidrolisável olefinicamente insaturado na presença de um agente gerador de radical livre. Os copolímeros sililados são prontamente curados por contato com água (umidade) e um catalisador de condensação de silanol e são particularmente úteis como o componente polimérico em formulações de vedantes, de calafetagem, de adesivos e de revestimento.
