Abstract
"CONJUNTO DE VENTILADOR E MÉTODO DE ARREFECIMENTO DE INDIVÍDUOS". Ventilador de arrefecimento de baixa velocidade que é projetado para arrefecer indivíduos localizados em grandes edifícios industriais. Um ventilador com um diâmetro entre 4,5 a 12 metro consistindo numa pluralidade de lâminas, cada uma na forma de um aerofólio afunilado, é acionado por um motor elétrico para produzir uma coluna de ar muito grande movendo-se lentamente. A coluna de ar móvel cria um padrão de fluxo de ar circulante uniformemente suave através do interior do edifício, produzindo, assim, o processo de arrefecimento evaporativo natural do corpo humano em todos os pontos dentro do edifício.
