Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR NANOPARTÍCULAS DE BIOPOLÍMEROS". É descrito um processo para produzir nanopartículas de biopolímeros no qual o biopolímero é plastificado usando-se forças de cisalhamento e adicionando-se um agente de encadeamento cruzado durante o processamento. Após o referido processamento, o biopolímero pode ser dissolvido ou disperso em um meio aquoso a uma concentração entre 4 % e 40 % em peso. Isto resulta em nanopartículas de amido que são caracterizadas por possuírem um tamanho médio de partícula menor que 400nm.
