Abstract
"DERIVADOS DE 2,3-O-ISOPROPILIDENO DE MONOSSACARÍDEOS COM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA DE ADERÊNCIA CELULAR". A presente invenção se refere geralmente a compostos e processos para sintetizar derivados do ácido 2,3-O-isopropilideno- -L-xilo-2-hexulofuranosônico de fórmula (I). Os compostos da presente invenção são de utilidade, dentre outras, na inibição e prevenção de aderência celular e patologias mediadas por aderência celular, incluindo doenças inflamatórias e autoimunes, tais como asma bronquial, artrite reumatóide, diabetes tipo I, esclerose múltipla, rejeição a transplantes e psoríase. A presente invenção também se refere a composições farmacológicas contendo os derivados do ácido 2,3- O -isopropilideno- -L-xilo-2-hexulofuranosônico e aos métodos de tratamento de tais patologias listadas acima.
