Patente de Invenção: ''POLISSACARÍDEO MICROFIBRILAR DERIVATIZADO'' . Método para produzir polissacarídeo microfibrilar derivatizado, incluindo, porém sem limitação, celulose, derivatizado por forças estéricas e/ou eletrostáticas, onde as forças eletrostáticas são fornecidas por carga aniônica ou por uma combinação de carga tanto aniônica quanto catiônica, por estabilização e/ou microfibrilação de um material de partida do tipo polissacarídeo. Método para modificar as propriedades reológicas de uma composição de matéria usando polissacarídeo microfibrilar derivatizado. Método para melhorar revestimentos, fabricação de papel, e a estabilidade de emulsões, dispersões e espumas usando um polissacarídeo microfibrilar derivatizado. Composições que incluem polissacarídeo microfibrilar derivatizado, incluindo composições de papel, composições comestíveis, composições espalháveis não comestíveis, e emulsões, dispersões e espumas.
