Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAÇÃO DE GÁS HILARIANTE". Para empregos em escala industrial de gás hilariante como a hidroxilação de benzeno em fenol é necessário um gás hilariante que, se possível, não pode conter nenhum monóxido de nitrogênio. De acordo com a invenção um gás hilariante livre de monóxido de nitrogênio pode ser obtido por redução hetereogeneamente catalisada de monóxido de nitrogênio com um agente redutor, tal como, por exemplo, hidrogênio e/ou monóxido de carbono, sendo que a mistura de gás contendo monóxido de nitrogênio é obtida preferentemente por oxidação de amoníaco.
