Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREENCHER UM VAZIO UTILIZANDO MATERIAL SÓLIDO PARTICULADO". Um processo para preencher um vazio ou cavidade utilizando um material agregado, tais como refugos de mineração, o material de reaterro sendo bombeado de um sítio que está localizado afastado do vazio. Um material aerado fluido é formado misturando o material sólido particulado com espuma acabada. O material aerado também pode incluir cimento ou outro ligante para aplicações que exijam resistência estrutural. A estrutura de bolhas que resulta do incorporar o constituinte espumoso no material de reaterro torna este muito mais fluido e bombeável, dessa maneira permitindo o uso de relações de sólidos para água muito mais elevadas que seriam de outro modo possíveis enquanto ainda suscetível de bombear o material através de distâncias significativas. Isto reduz a possibilidade de colapso fluido do material na cavidade, e produz outras vantagens igualmente.
