Trata-se de base estrutural (01) apresentada em conformação quadrada ou retangular, dotada de alça (02) aplicada em uma de suas superfícies e pelo menos uma borda dotada de sequência de dentes (03). Na superfície coincidente com a alça (02) é previsto elemento de fixação (04) que aprisiona o arranjo (05) de sobreposição da sequência de dentes (03) por deslizamento horizontal, cuja a finalidade é regular a extensão dos dentes durante o processo de aplicação de substância pastosa no assentamento de revestimentos.
