A borda (1) de equipamentos para movimentação de materiais, é dotada de uma base (2), provida lisa em toda sua extensão. A borda (1) possui ainda um perfil de ataque (3) com superfície levemente côncava interligando a porção frontal da borda (1) e a sua porção superior (4), que fica praticamente na mesma superfície da lâmina base (E), quando instalada.
