Esta peça é utilizada na conexão junto as hastes conectadas em cremalheiras para direção hidráulica automotiva, com a propriedade específica de vedação, cuja finalidade pleiteada no presente relatório refere-se é a possibilidade de sua remoção e substituição quando do seu desgaste, não necessitando a substituição de toda a haste introduzida na cremalheira.
