Idealizada para conter e absorver substâncias poluentes decorrentes de eventuais acidentes ambientais em áreas lacustres, fluviais ou marítimas, abrigadas ou off-shore, sendo constituída por uma capa cilíndrica (1) envolvendo elemento flutuador e absorvente (2), que pode ser substituído após saturado, e mantido em posição por uma saia estabilizadora (3) lastreada por elemento de tensão (4) fixado na sua bainha.
