PROTETOR DE LIVROS, é caracterizado por um invólucro confeccionado em tecido de fios elásticos ou rígidos, no formato retangular, composto de duas abas largas (capas) e duas abas de encaixe (orelhas), interligadas por uma faixa central (lombada)que possibilita a proteção de livros, com dimensões proporcionais que limitam a largura da aba de encaixe a 40 por cento da capa, ou com fitas auto-aderentes que permitem ajustar o tamanho do protetor ao do objeto a ser protegido.
