Tem a finalidade prática de se acionar a descarga do vaso sanitário sem manuseio; é acionada com o simples ato de se abandonar o acento; o mecanismo é acionado a partir do momento em que o usuário utiliza o acento; o acento (5) Fig. 2 pressiona o mecanismo (3) Fig. 2, (vide detalhe) (6) Fig. 2 que, por sua vez, pressiona a alavanca de transmissão (1) Fig. 2 fazendo o obturador (7) Fig. 4 vedar o tubo de descarga e abrir a válvula de admissão (3) Fig. 4 e ilustração do funcionamento geral Fig. 6.
