Constituindo-se da união de uma chapa metálica (3) de formato circular com alças (4), receptora de uma pedra (1) de granito também de formato circular compacta, sem frestas, sendo que a combinação de tais elementos (1) e (3), origina uma espécie de bandeja para ser aquecida ao fogo (F), de modo que a chapa (3) transmita, de forma uniforme, o calor para a pedra (1), obtendo-se uma superfície (2) com temperatura ideal para o preparo de alimentos, sejam sólidos, pastosos ou líquidos.
