O mecanismo a que se refere esta patente tem o seu acionamento remoto por meio de paging , o que coloca à frente dos modelos conhecidos, pois não tem os limites estreitos de tempo e de distância que os demais apresentam para conter o auto roubado. Ademais, este modelo oferece, como vantagem adicional, a de poder, através de um sinal eletrônico codificado, destravar portas e abrir janelas em situações como a de esquecimento das chaves no interior do veículo.
