A invenção se refere a uma disposição introduzida em giz de alfaiate, formado por um corpo de giz achatado (1) substancialmente poligonal, em particular triangular, tendo lados e vértices concordantes levemente curvados para fora, e que se afila em direção à periferia. Para proporcionar uma melhor apreensão do corpo de giz achatado (1) pelo usuário, ele abrange ao menos uma protusão (2) e um recesso frontal (3).
