Abstract
O dispositivo anti-furto libera o volante (3) e trava a direção quando retirada a chave da ignição (13), tornando o veículo indirigível. O mecanismo anti-furto fica no interior da coluna (1) e consta de eixo tubular em duas secções (2 e 9), ancoradas uma à outra pela chaveta (8) encaixada nos rasgos (7 e 7A). Na primeira secção (2) fica o volante (3) e na segunda secção (9) está ligado o mecanismo da direção. A alavanca de engate (6) é acionada pela lingúeta (14), desengatando ou engatando uma secção à outra, desligando ou religando as duas partes. Desligado, o volante (3) fica sem ação sobre o mecanismo da direção, o qual permanece travado pela lingúeta da trava (14).
