O cadeado é constituído de corpo (1) provido de haste reta (4), tambor (2), para introdução da chave e aba de retenção (3) ligada ao seu eixo, sendo dito corpo (1) alojado no interior da caixa (5) dotado em sua parede interna de rasgo (6), o qual recebe a aba de retenção (3).
