Um método inclui formar uma placa fria incluindo material condutor e tendo uma pluralidade de aberturas, e revestir a placa fria com revestimento dielétrico. O método inclui adicionalmente colocar a placa fria próxima a uma placa de metal incluindo um ou mais metais, e expor a placa fria à umidade e/ou água. Em um exemplo, a distância lateral mínima entre a placa fria e a placa de metal é de no máximo 0,5 polegada. O método inclui adicionalmente, enquanto a placa fria é exposta à umidade e/ou à água, aplicar uma tensão através da placa fria e da placa de metal, e medir uma corrente de fuga resultante através da placa fria. A espessura do revestimento dielétrico em uma borda de uma abertura da pluralidade de aberturas é de pelo menos 0,003 polegada.
