Abstract
MÉTODO PARA EDITAR GENES PARA INIBIR O SPLICING ABERRANTE EM TRANSCRIÇÃO DE STATHMIN 2 (STMN2). A presente invenção refere-se a um método para inibir o splicing aberrante em um transcrito de Stathmin-2 (STMN2), o método que compreende: editar geneticamente um gene STMN2 em uma célula para excluir (a) um ou mais nucleotídeos em um local de splice 3' do íntron 1, sendo que o local de splice 3' é adjacente ao éxon 2a, (b) um ou mais nucleotídeos em uma região do íntron 1 que é adjacente ao local de splice 3', ou ambos (a) e (b), inibindo assim a produção de transcritos de STMN2 incluindo o éxon 2a e melhorando a produção de transcritos de STMN2 funcionais na célula. Também são fornecidos aqui sistemas de edição de genes para modificação genética do gene STMN2.
