ANEL DE GARRA SEGMENTADO PARA SISTEMAS DE CONTENÇÃO DE JUNTAS DE TUBOS DE PLÁSTICO. Um mecanismo para restringir tubos contra forças internas e externas em uma conexão de tubo ou conexão, para unir e vedar pelo menos dois tubos para formar uma tubulação, apresentando um mecanismo de contenção aprimorado. O mecanismo de contenção inclui um envoltório circunferencial e um anel de fixação complementar, ambos alojados em uma ranhura correspondente na extremidade em forma de sino de um tubo fêmea. O anel de fixação é composto por uma série de elementos de fixação em forma de arco, interconectados por segmentos elastoméricos discretos. Os elementos de fixação são separados por aberturas, de modo que uma região de articulação flexível é criada pelos segmentos elastoméricos entre os elementos de fixação adjacentes. Os segmentos elastoméricos fornecem ação de mola axial e radial ao conjunto.
