São descritos neste documento sistemas e métodos que melhoram ou otimizam capacidade de link de retorno empregando canais de link de retorno sobrepostos em um grupo de canal de retorno (RCG) para um sistema de comunicações compartilhado por múltiplos terminais de usuário. A tecnologia divulgada permite que diferentes configurações de canal de link de retorno sejam usadas simultaneamente, embora reduzindo ou evitando a necessidade de mensagens aéreas adicionais relacionadas à mudança da configuração do RCG. A tecnologia divulgada permite uso mais eficiente da capacidade de link de retorno respondendo às mudanças de condições ou demandas em tempo real.
