A presente invenção se refere a um método e sistema aprimorados para recuperar os componentes individuais de um produto de relva sintética ou artificial em uma forma quase similar ao seu início original. O resultado é alcançado por um método dividido em três seções, uma primeira seção na qual a relva é reduzida e seca, uma segunda seção em que o enchimento, como borracha e areia, é separado, e uma terceira seção em que a fibra de relva e forro são separados.
