A peneira molecular SSZ-93 é estruturalmente semelhante a peneiras que se enquadram no tipo de estrutura MTT, tais como a família de peneiras moleculares SSZ-32x, SSZ-32, ZSM-23, EU-13, ISI-4 e KZ-1. SSZ-93 é caracterizado por ter magnésio.
