BARRA DE COMBUSTÍVEL NUCLEAR E MÉTODO DE FABRICAÇÃO DE UMA BARRA DE COMBUSTÍVEL NUCLEAR.A presente invenção refere-se a uma barra de combustível nuclear, que compreende combustível nuclear contido em um chapeamento (4), o chapeamento (4) compreendendo um tubo (6) e dois plugues (8), o tubo (6) se estendendo ao longo de um eixo central (A) e tendo duas extremidades, cada plugue (8) sendo fixado a uma extremidade correspondente do tubo (6) vedando a extremidade do mesmo, o tubo (6) sendo coberto por um revestimento de tubo (16), em que o revestimento de tubo (16) se estende por todo o comprimento do tubo (6), de uma extremidade do tubo (6) à outra.
