Abstract
MÉTODOS DE INTRODUÇÃO DE UM CATALISADOR PARA A DESACETILAÇÃO ACELERADA DE ÉSTERES CELULÓSICOS. É aqui divulgado um filtro de cigarro degradável compreendendo um éster celulósico e incluindo um catalisador compreendendo um material básico, um material enzimático, ou combinações dos mesmos. O catalisador, quando exposto à água, pode desacetilar a estopa de filamentos de acetato de celulose em pelo menos 10% em 20 dias ou menos. Os filtros aqui descritos se degradam por conseguinte mais rapidamente que outros filtros de estopa de acetato de celulose conhecidos.
