Um processo e instalação de reciclagem química para usar um ou mais materiais contendo PET como uma matéria-prima para uma instalação de reciclagem química e em particular uma instalação de solvólise, são aqui providos. Os materiais contendo PET usados como matéria-prima podem compreender conter coprodutos de recuperação de PET, produtos ou coprodutos de MRF contendo PET, misturas contendo plástico ordenado e/ou plástico de resíduo contendo PET a partir de uma instalação de fabricação de artigo plástico. Em particular, os materiais contendo PET usados como matéria-prima podem compreender uma quantidade de finos úmidos contendo PET de uma instalação de recuperação.
