A extremidade inferior aberta (222) define uma superfície radialmente externa (232) e uma superfície radialmente interna (234) que está em comunicação com o reservatório central (204) do elemento filtrante (200). Um recurso de travamento (236) está disposto próximo à extremidade inferior aberta (222). O recurso de travamento (236) inclui uma fenda de entrada (238) que está disposta na superfície radialmente interna (234) do tubo central (206) que se estende axialmente a partir da extremidade inferior aberta (222).
