Abstract
AERONAVE VTOL PARA FALHA OPERACIONAL.Em um aspecto, é descrita na presente invenção uma aeronave capaz de transportar pelo menos 181,44 kg (400 libras) de carga útil. Uma modalidade tem quatro sistemas de rotores, cada um dos sistemas de rotor sendo acionado independentemente por um motor elétrico ou outra fonte produtora de torque. Cada um dos sistemas de rotor fornece empuxo suficiente de modo que a aeronave seja capaz de decolagem e aterrissagem verticais controladas, mesmo que um dos sistemas de rotor de arfagem variável esteja inoperável. Um sistema de controle eletrônico é configurado para controlar a velocidade rotacional e a arfagem de pelo menos um dos sistemas de rotor.
