Um dispositivo de freio de cinta compreende um tambor de freio (1), cintas de freio (3), molas (4), um cilindro de freio de liberação (5) e um mecanismo de transmissão. O tambor de freio (3) é conectado às molas (4) e ao cilindro de liberação de freio (5) por meio do mecanismo de transmissão; existem múltiplas cintas de freio (3); e a pluralidade de cintas de freio (3) é revestida no tambor de freio (1) em paralelo.
