Um suporte estrutural compreendendo: um núcleo de espuma e uma camada externa, sendo o núcleo de espuma e a camada externa livres de nervuras de reforço estrutural e bolsas abertas, em que o suporte estrutural é curável a uma temperatura de cerca de 0°C a cerca de 50°C. O suporte também pode espumar à temperatura ambiente. O suporte estrutural pode ter um material adesivo disposto em pelo menos uma porção da camada externa.
