A presente invenção refere-se a um uso de ciclo-HisPro (CHP) para prevenir, atenuar ou tratar fibrose e, mais particularmente, a uma composição farmacêutica para prevenir ou tratar fibrose que compreende CHP, uma composição alimentícia funcional sanitária para prevenir ou atenuar fibrose, uma composição antifibrótica, um método para prevenir, atenuar ou tratar fibrose usando-se CHP e/ou um uso de CHP na fabricação da composição farmacêutica para prevenir ou tratar fibrose.
